BALIUS founder starting her love and understanding of horses as a teen and it has only grown over the years. Because of her love of animals she began to search for equipment to meet a high standard to ensure utmost comfort for her horses.
In her search, she found our manufacturing partner who has 40 years of experience in climbing, dog sledding, and horse riding equipment. In 2021 our founder partnered with them to improve and refine their design and bring high quality horse equipment to North America.
BALIUS founder consulted with other professionals and riders in America to design equipment insuring the highest quality and comfort for your horse. We emphasize high quality material, new technologies, experience, and quality work of our manufacturer. With all of these working together, we can offer you horse tack which is washable, lightweight, durable, but, most of all is gentle on your horse's coat.

Balius recognizes the value and importance that rescues and sanctuaries have in the equine world. We have made helping horses our mission. We choose a horse or non profit organization where we donate a portion of our proceeds as our way to say thank you for all they do for equines in their care.
